International Trading Company located in the centre of Zug / Switzerland is looking for a dynamic candidate to join the Team as

 Technical Product & Market Development Analyst (Fertilizers) 100%

This role combines applied chemistry knowledge with quantitative data analysis to evaluate fertilizer products and raw materials, verify product and quality specifications and generate the technical and market intelligence that underpins commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Technical/analytical support to the Company’s fertilizer sourcing, product-development and trading activities
• Data analysis and market support
• Technical product and specification analysis
• Sourcing, supplier, counterparties and product-stewardship support
• Technical / analytical support to the Chief Commercial Officer

Requirements

• Integrated master’s degree in chemistry (M.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent), first-class/distinction classification and an outstanding academic record
• Strong background in chemical sciences and the ability to understand and evaluate complex technical information
• Interest in agriculture, crop nutrition and commodity markets
• Practical data-analysis and programming ability, particularly Python
• Strong scientific and technical writing skills
•  Ability to interpret product specifications, laboratory reports and analytical data independently
• Understanding of safe chemical handling, storage and disposal
• Languages: EN / RU / GER
