HR Business Analyst - Workday HCM Support Specialist
Join an international organisation in Basel and play a key role in supporting and enhancing its Workday HR landscape as part of an ongoing HR modernisation programme.
As an HR Business Analyst – Workday HCM, you will support the day-to-day operation and continued development of the organisation's HR systems, with a strong focus on Workday HCM.
Working closely with HR, HRIS, technical teams and business stakeholders, you will coordinate system changes, incidents and releases while supporting testing, training and continuous improvement. You will help ensure new and enhanced functionality is successfully transitioned into business-as-usual operations and provides an intuitive experience for end users.

- Provide 2nd/3rd level Workday support, troubleshooting system and HR data issues and coordinating resolution with functional and technical teams.
- Configure and maintain Workday functionality, processes, workflows and rules in line with business requirements.
- Gather and translate HR requirements into effective system enhancements and solutions.
- Coordinate incident management, including escalation, stakeholder communication, root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
- Lead and coordinate change and release management, including Workday's bi-annual global releases, readiness, dependencies, risks and post-release reviews.
- Plan and execute functional, integration and UAT testing, including test preparation, documentation and issue resolution.
- Support Workday modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Performance, Talent, Time and Absence.
- Develop and deliver user training, guidance and communications for new functionality and HR processes.
- Translate technical system changes into clear, practical information for HR and end users.
- Partner with HR teams to maintain data integrity and resolve process and system issues.
- Support the wider HR systems landscape, including ServiceNow HR, and identify opportunities to improve processes and the end-user experience.
- Analyse the downstream impact of system changes and support mitigation and continuous improvement activities.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience within HR, HRIS or HR Operations, ideally as a Business Analyst or HRIS Specialist.
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM and familiarity with other HR systems such as ServiceNow HR.
- Experience providing end-user and ideally 2nd/3rd level HRIS support.
- Experience with Workday reporting and analytics, including customised reports and dashboards.
- Proven experience supporting functional and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Experience creating and delivering training content for HR processes and systems.
- Comfortable managing sensitive HR processes, confidential data and data-quality issues.
- Experience with incident, change and/or release management within an HR systems environment.
- Strong technology skills across Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical, organised and proactive, with strong attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ServiceNow HR implementation or support.
- Broader knowledge of HR service delivery, HR compliance and GDPR.
- Previous involvement in Workday implementations, Hypercare or HR transformation programmes.
