Job description:
You will be responsible for processing and overseeing international securities transfers, ensuring accurate settlement and resolving discrepancies across global markets. Working closely with custodians, counterparties, and internal stakeholders, you'll contribute to efficient and reliable post-trade operations.

Requirements:
- Process, instruct, and monitor global free-of-payment (FOP) securities transfers across equities, bonds, and standard investment funds.
- Prepare and send settlement instructions to domestic and international custodians and central securities depositories (CSDs), primarily using SWIFT MT540/542 messages.
- Investigate settlement-related issues and coordinate directly with counterparties to ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor outstanding transactions, identify discrepancies, and proactively resolve pending settlement cases.
- Independently investigate position breaks, transaction taxes, fees, and other settlement discrepancies, including related booking and reconciliation activities.
- Respond to inquiries and claims from custodians, counterparties, and internal stakeholders.
- Support daily team operations by managing the shared mailbox and telephone hotline, responding to requests, and coordinating incoming assignments.
Competences:
- Solid experience in securities settlement, post-trade operations, or a closely related banking operations function.
- Strong knowledge of SWIFT MT54x messages (MT540, MT541, MT542, MT543) is essential.
- Good understanding of international securities transfers, settlement processes, and reconciliation activities.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with SIS Portal, BBH Infuse, or Clearstream Xact (CBL Xact) is an advantage.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to investigate and resolve settlement issues independently.
- A proactive, reliable, and organized approach to managing daily operational responsibilities.
